Listening to music is always a great way to get back into the writing groove. Sometimes I like to role play and see how my characters would get through some mundane scene or event, and it can give me an idea on how they get through an actual scene in the story.

Congratulations on the success of your first book and wishing you all the best in your second! I read your first book and it was delightful.

I would hate to sound presumptuous, and please let me know if I do, but if you ever need a proofreader I would be honored to lend a hand.

Music is definitely my favorite way to get inspiration. Love the idea of stepping into the shoes of your characters!

And thank you! Really appreciate your kind words about my book. And thanks for the offer! I'll be needing a few different types of editors and paid beta readers on my next book, and I'll be posting those job opps here in a few months when the draft is done!

I don't! I think they are going to connect us on a Whatsapp group at some point. Are you staying in/around Tuscany before or after the retreat? I'm going to be in Florence from April 27-30th right before the retreat to hang out in the city and go to some of the museums I missed last time!

I live in Portugal and will fly up that morning. But I’ve booked a few extra days in Florence afterwards, to celebrate my birthday (5/5) and enjoy the city ☺️

I hope so. Last year I spent it in Paris 🥰 It’s so much easier to do these kinds of things if you’re already living in Europe.
