Happy Sunday! In today’s newsletter, you’ll learn about…
✍️ The power of a great Sunday reset
☕️ How to approach the week with joy and clarity
😎 My favorite approach to building my Sunday reset — no matter where I am
📖 3-Minute Story: My Creativity-Boosting Sunday Reset
As a full-time traveler and digital nomad, my obsession with routines might sound odd.
Yes, I might be hiking up to Athens’ Acropolis on a Tuesday and strolling the streets of Valencia, Spain on a Thursday to grab some breakfast, but I still have to enforce elements of discipline and routine.
Sundays are my opportunity to reset for the week, and no matter where I am in the world I always do the same things.
✨ So, here is everything I do each week for my Sunday Reset:
Begin by journaling — as I do every day! — and reflecting on what’s top of mind.
On my daily Notion dashboard, I answer the same three questions every Sunday as part of my “Weekly Check-In.”
⭐️ How am I feeling?
⭐️ What did I do right last week? What do I want to improve upon?
⭐️ What would make this week great and get closer to my goals?
I pick an image from my vision board that is my “Vision of the Week” and add it to my Weekly Check-In area of my Notion dashboard. This helps me to keep returning to my vision board and visualizing my ideal future.
I then go through my to-do lists and see what I want to prioritize for the week, and block out space on my calendar for must-do tasks and deadlines.
After I’ve reflected on the week past and am clear on what I’m doing the next week, I have enough mental space to finish editing my Sunday newsletter (which I always try and write in advance!) and fill in any last sections with updated links and info for y’all.
Once my digital spaces and work calendar is set up for the week, I’m ready to go and clean my space. I always find that a clean space helps to improve my creativity, productivity, and peace of mind. Doing laundry and other chores also clears space for the week to hold more moments of curiosity and artfulness.
After all of the chores are done and everything is clean and ready for the week, I’ll move on to the last of my daily habits: doing yoga or pilates, hitting 10k steps, reading 20 pages, and meditating at least once per day. I use this free Notion habit tracker template that is beautiful and functional to track all my habits!
Sunday Resets are sacred to me because mindset stems from the actions we take.
If we enter the week with chaos and overwhelm, we’ll be off on the wrong foot before the week even begins.
If we take care of ourselves and our work each week, we open up the door for harmony to help us reach higher levels of inspiration and creativity.
I see creativity as a result of preparation and intention.
Just as we must honor our work, we also have to honor the preparation that precedes the work.
I’d love to hear about your approach to Sunday Resets in the comments (or feel free to reply to this email) and don’t forget to share to help other readers find this publication!

📸 Photo of the Week: Best Zoom Background (2022)
In 2022, my favorite place to take Zoom calls with clients was in our little cottage on top of a hill in Oakland, California! We had our own garden and I loved sitting out on the porch and taking calls and doing my morning journaling.
