Yeah, no. Sounds like Fiverr is using this as an excuse to eventually phase out low-earning writers. Even if they weren't, I can't see how anyone who isn't churning out a massive amount of work can make a profit. So you have to underbid to get the project against hundreds of other freelancers, then give a cut of your pay to Fiver, then give another cut to the AI, then potentially pay to have your money transferred to your account? Is that about right? That's dumb.
I like the reminder to keep to a boring schedule and let Sunday be the reset day! I also like the idea that my writing time might be once (or twice) a week! I tend to overbook my work life and then find myself starved for writing time.
Freelancers are threatened by AI. As one who cherishes the English language and strives to move or educate my readers, I'll have nothing to do with AI.
Nah. This is selling freelancers who are already woefully underpaid (and getting even MORE underpaid lately) on a myth that they can extend their reach and make "passive income." But what it's really doing is devaluing their work entirely, and like you said—what's stopping the client from just cutting out the whole Fiverr freelancer and using AI exclusively? Sounds like Fiverr is rolling this out as a transitional step in a process of eliminating the humans altogether.
I'm not trying to sound alarmist. I just think there are better ways to use AI. Like...a freelancer can certainly increase their output and save time by strategically using AI in their own work. And then that freelancer can just earn more money, and keep their own money. Ya know?
also... I dread living in a world where all the product descriptions are written by AI. It sounds so lame. :(

Right. Basically all of this.
