A prestigious literary magazine is seeking fiction or nonfiction manuscripts up to 10,000 words and will feature the selected story to 350,000 readers with permanent archival. Pay is $500, plus emerging writers are eligible for an annual $5,000 prize.
An independent literary publication is accepting previously unpublished prose between 800 and 4,000 words on any topic, with pieces also featured on their Substack platform. Pay is £200 per piece, or £150 for Substack features.
