The hourly rate calculator is especially helpful, thanks! However, why Substack over other newsletter platforms? I feel like it's drowning in content and buries new profiles unless they are hyperactive on Notes and post several times a week. It's exhausting. While it's still the leading platform, successful newsletters don't have to be on Substack. Patreon, Ghost, or even newsletter generators from website hosts like Squarespace can be effective without all the noise.
